Cori hails from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she spent her formative years before embarking on a new chapter in Colorado. Drawn by the allure of the mountains and the promise of a more active lifestyle, Cori found herself captivated by the natural beauty and outdoor opportunities that Colorado had to offer. However, her decision to move was not solely her own; she candidly admits that her partner, Dillon, expressed a desire to relocate, to which she readily agreed.
Cori pursued her cosmetology education at the Vici Aveda Institute in Milwaukee, undertaking her studies in 2009 and successfully graduating in 2010. She loves creating lived-in blondes and dimensional brunettes. She excels in transforming her clients' hair into effortlessly chic styles that exude natural beauty and versatility. Additionally, Cori specializes in sew-in extensions. Her passion truly shines when it comes to bridal styling. As Cedar's lead bridal stylist, she brings a unique blend of creativity, skill, and attention to detail to each bride and bridal party she works with.
She has had the privilege of attending prestigious courses such as the GOLDWELL master class, where she delved into advanced techniques and cutting-edge trends in hair coloring. Additionally, Cori pursued certification in extension methods through the Coco Marie extensions.
Cori's ideal client is someone who embodies a balance of youthfulness and maturity, typically young professionals or young families. She appreciates clients who have a low-maintenance approach to their beauty routines but are still open to exploring new styles and techniques. These clients are willing to invest time in learning some basic styling techniques to maintain their look between salon visits.
Outside of work, you'll find Cori hanging with her husband, Dillon, their baby Ruby, and their beloved dog, Everest. At home, Cori finds solace and fulfillment in cooking homemade meals, sometimes sharing her sweet treats with her colleagues. Additionally, she nurtures her creative side through crafting, immersing herself in DIY projects. She's also a pro thrifter, coffee shop entheusiast, and lover of a classic farmers market.
