Chelsea hails from the Midwest, specifically having grown up in Michigan and spending a decade in Chicago. The allure of Colorado, however, proved irresistible to her and her husband. After years of enduring the chilly winters and urban bustle of their previous cities, they felt a pull towards a sunnier and more serene environment. Colorado seemed to embody their dreams of a more fulfilling lifestyle. Thus, they made the decision to relocate.

Chelsea graduated from the Aveda Institute in Chicago in 2011, marking the beginning of her career as a cosmetologist. Her favorite services to perform are dimensional brunettes and effortless, lived-in, long layers, with a touch of razor shags added in. For her, creating dimensional brunettes allows for a play of light and shadow. She enjoys crafting effortless, lived-in long layers that exude natural beauty and versatility, providing clients with styles that are both chic and low-maintenance. Additionally, incorporating razor shags adds a modern edge and texture to hairstyles, enhancing movement and depth.

Chelsea feels incredibly fortunate to have pursued an extensive amount of continued education throughout her career, spanning various locations across the country. Among the standout experiences was attending a week-long intensive cutting program at Sassoon in Chicago, as well as a week of private razor training in East Hampton, where she delved into the intricacies of razor cutting techniques. Additionally, her time spent attending numerous New York classes while working with ARROJO has shaped her into the stylist she is now. These educational experiences have not only enriched her professional skills but also fueled her passion for growth and innovation in the ever-evolving world of hair.

Chelsea ideal client is someone who resonates with her own stage in life. Sharing similar life experiences and perspectives allows for a deeper understanding and connection between Chelsea and her clients. She values the opportunity to collaborate with clients who share her values and aspirations, creating a supportive and enriching experience for both parties.

Outside of work, you'll often find her, her high school sweetheart, and their two kids tending to their garden or participating in jiu jitsu, or cuddling with their original baby, Milo, an 18 year old cat. Additionally, you'll find her attending all kinds of shows around Denver (early 2000s pop punk anyone?)
