Originally from Chicago, Kate found herself drawn to Colorado, particularly Telluride, where she embarked on a ski season adventure that turned into a decade-long commitment. She attended cosmetology school at Paul Mitchell Denver, graduating in 2019, which equipped her with the skills to pursue her passion for hair and beauty.

Kate's favorite service to perform is dry cutting, whether it's shaping a bob or adding shape to thick hair, alongside her love for blended, sun-kissed dimensional color. Committed to continuous learning, she eagerly participates in various cutting classes. In 2024, Kate is taking her dedication to the next level by pursuing certification in trichology, the study of hair and scalp health. This decision reflects her deep-rooted commitment to providing comprehensive care to her clients, recognizing the importance of scalp health in achieving and maintaining beautiful hair.

Kate's ideal client is someone who values both hair health and creativity. She appreciates clients who are open-minded and prioritize the well-being of their hair. Specifically, she enjoys working with individuals who prefer lower maintenance styles and embrace their natural grays. Kate finds joy in collaborating with chill, communicative people who entrust her expertise and vision.

Outside of work, Kate enjoys hiking with her sweet dog Avery. You might even have the chance to meet Avery, as she frequently joins Kate at work to hang with clients. Kate also loves indulging in coffee and pastries, attending concerts, and exploring new destinations through travel with her partner David.
